Our story

Our family has always enjoyed designing and making hand made gifts for our family and friends so in 2016 we decided to turn our hobby into a business and Caltef Designs began.
Our small family team comprises of Will who designs some of the pieces as well as operating the plasma machine and helping with fabrication. Will’s sister Nicole designs bespoke pieces and our products, helps with the Etsy store and attends events. Steve designs and fabricates the pieces and Hazel runs our Etsy store and keeps the office in order. Help is on hand from Lee and Katie when needed and our youngest recruit Jake is great at taking photographs for us.
