I was looking for a feature piece for my garden which required no maintenance. I asked that my love of wildlife and nature be the focus of the design. I am very happy with my fence which gives me a lot of pleasure all year round.

The brief
To create a maintenance free focal point at the end of a long thin garden incorporating bats and other nocturnal creatures.
Our design
The material that we decided to use was corten or weathering steel as it requires no maintenance. We used the full moon with bats cut into it as the focal point for the design, surrounding it with trees and other nocturnal birds and animals. The design was over 3 panels using invisible posts at the rear for fixing.
