Pond feature panel

The brief

We were asked to design and make a feature panel to display at the back of a carp fish pond. The customer requested that it be an oriental style and made from corten weathering steel so it required no maintenance. The customer was then going to mount it in an oak frame. 

Our design 

We researched oriental images and presented the customer with a selection of ideas. The customer then decided that he would like main panel to feature a carp and waterlily with additional panels at the top featuring cranes in flght. This was surrounded by a tradional pattern.
